  • Doug Gledhill

    President and Executive Director
  • Doug brings over 30 years of senior-level finance and administration experience to his leadership role with MissionFish. His career includes six years as Chief Financial Officer and then Chief Operating Officer of Points of Light Foundation. He has also previously served as corporate controller for AARP, sector executive and CFO for Hughes Information Systems, and director and chief accountant (among many other roles) for Hughes Aircraft Company. Doug began his career as an auditor with Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte & Touche) in Los Angeles. He serves on the investment committee for the Independent Sector and the boards of directors for Generations United and MissionFish UK. Doug earned a BS in Accounting and Finance from the University of Utah and completed the UCLA Executive Management Program. In his spare time, Doug and his wife Chris, enjoy playing with their new grand children and sailing on the Chesapeake.

  • Opal Hawkins

    Director of Finance
  • Opal manages MissionFish's finance and accounting activities. She is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience working in non-profit accounting and finance. Prior to joining MissionFish, she was most recently a senior consultant for Great Plains software. Opal began her career as an accountant with Price Waterhouse Coopers and has handled all things financial for The American Society of Associated Executives, Online Computer Learning Center (OCLC), and The American Association for Retired Persons. She has a BS in Business Administration and is currently pursuing an MBA from the University of Maryland University College. When the weather is cooperating, Opal enjoys gardening and spending time in the doggie parks with her Yorkshire terrier, "Frisky".

  • Taek Kim

    Senior Staff Accountant
  • Taek is responsible for daily transaction processing and establishes donation payments to nonprofits in the US & UK. He also serves as our financial system data integration specialist, making it possible for MissionFish to process millions of transactions annually. Prior to joining MissionFish, Taek worked as an accountant at Six Flags. He received his Bachelors in Economics and Information Systems from University of Maryland Baltimore County. When he isn't busy crunching numbers, Taek likes to do any and every outdoor activity he can. He's currently playing on 3 sports teams – flag football, hockey, and paintball - which leave little time for his other hobbies: rock climbing, hiking, and fishing. He is proudly owned and trained by his puggle, "Buddy".

  • Ying Zhang

    Senior Staff Accountant
  • Ying joined MissionFish as a support engineer to make sure our site and systems run as smoothly as possible. Her duties included researching, debugging and finding solutions to the most complex technical issues. Today, Ying processes daily donation transactions and establishes payments to our nonprofits in the US & UK. Amongst other responsibilities, she specializes in reconciling our financial and online systems to ensure all donations are accurately processed. Ying has a Master's degree in Computer Science from George Mason University. She enjoys globetrotting and has traveled extensively across Asia including Japan, India, Thailand, Tibet and Hong Kong. For future voyages, her sights are set on Europe.
