- Angel Acres Horse Haven
[Direct Selling, Local Nonprofit] - Jo Deibel has loved horses since she was a little girl. In March 2003 she decided to adopt a mare from a group that rescues healthy, young American horses who would otherwise be sold for slaughter for human consumption in Europe and Asia. - Goodwill of San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin Counties
[Direct Selling, Local Nonprofit] - Goodwill’s philosophy and business model has been a continued success since opening its doors in 1902. And now, in addition to its traditional brick and mortar stores, the Goodwill model has grown to include internet outlets. - Hazel Wolf High School
[School Fundraiser] - In 2004, after four years of holding live auctions, Hazel Wolf High School (HWHS) decided to move its annual auction online.
