  • eBay Giving Works responds to the famine in East Africa
Get involved to raise funds and awareness for your nonprofit's relief efforts
  • As news about the famine in the Horn of Africa grows, we are seeing a strong desire to help among the eBay Community. We have created a special campaign, East Africa Famine Relief External Link, to highlight nonprofits who are on the ground providing emergency aid. eBay users are able to support these organizations by creating listings, buying items already listed and making Donate Now donations.
  • If your organization is also on the ground providing relief, we want to help you raise funds and awareness. To be included in this campaign, please write in to care@missionfish.org with the subject East Africa Famine Relief Campaign. In the body of your message please include your organization's name and what assistance you are providing. We also require that you update your mission statement in your MissionFish account to reflect your relief efforts.
  • Finally, reach out to Community Sellers who have supported you in the past and let them know about the campaign page and your work to help the victims of the famine. This is a perfect reason to reach out, thank them for their support, and inspire them to list additional items to benefit your cause.
  • You can find past donor information by logging into your MissionFish account and clicking on "Community Sellers" in the "My Donors" section.
